Life as a ginger is a blog all about life. Not all just about gingers, but life for everyone else as well. Things in life that are painful or things in life that could get any better. I want to hear from everyone about their lives, while they read along to mine.

What a fabulous question! It truly depends on who owns the mine and how much you love the rock. So, here is what you can think about: Do you love this rock enough to keep it for the next ten years, is it so meaningful to you that it is worth paying for. Was the true joy in finding this rock, the thought that you could keep it? If you answered no to any of these questions, I would return the rock for the sake of your sanity. But if the rock really means that much to you, there is only guilt keeping you from holding on to it. Secondly, there is the clasic thought that if everyone takes a beautiful rock, they will all be gone. If you were a little kid who found the rock I am sure you would be pretty excited, so we wouldn't want there to be no more rocks.
ReplyDeleteI have had my fair share of rocks that I have kept and rocks that I have left behind. But at this point in time, I can not find any of the ones I kept because they never had an actual meaning to me. But if you find a rock that is so precious to you personally, hold on to it.
Lastly, if you want to hold on to the rock, than you should by all means check the policies of that mine, maybe even ask the owner if you can keep it. Send an email to them.
But if anything, do not wory that it was absolutly terrible, one little rock never did anyone harm. just keep in mind the possabilities.
I am so glad you posted this question, I have been waiting for something fun to reply to
